WHY PLAY FLEX LEAGUE? More matches to count towards your NTRP rating, play new people, no travel, flexible scheduling
Players are given a schedule with opponents’ names/contact info & arrange their own match times. Winner records scores on TennisLink. Each player brings a can of balls and the winner takes home the unopened can.
You may register more than 2 players on your Doubles Team for flexibility in arranging matches. Regular scoring w/3rd set Match tiebreaker. If time is short – agree on a different scoring method (no ad, pro set, etc) It’s flexible!
Flights will have round robin play.
League Fee: $4.00 plus processing fee
Players MUST register online. Must be 19 or turn 19 in 2008.
Deadline to SIGN UP – January 16. Matches begin January 20.
Number of matches determined by # teams/players signed up per flight
The Create a Team On Line function is enabled in TennisLink. Players create their own team and team number. When a player creates a team, they must immediately register themselves on that team for it to “create”. They will see the team number and can give that number to their partner. For singles, you create your own Singles “team” number (you are the only one on the team). Local community flights will be established by NTRP levels. Players can always play up.
INSTRUCTIONS: Go To tennislink.usta.com/leagues. Find Create a Team on right side of page. Section is Intermountain. District is Wyoming. League is 2008 Winter Flex League Singles, Doubles, or Mixed. Flight is your ntrp and gender. Sub flight is your city. Then create your team and register.
