National Tennis Month Grant Applications Open Until April 21, 2024

Host a Tennis Event in May to Promote your Tennis Organization

Get your local Community Tennis Associations, National Junior Tennis and Learning Chapters and public tennis facilities involved this May to celebrate National Tennis Month to:

  • Promote tennis in your local community and earn some money for your organization
  • Drive potential players/members/leads to your organization/program

How It Works:

  • Choose up to three free tennis activities/events to host in your community in May
  • Each event is worth $200 upon completion, up to $600 available for completion of three events per USTA registered organization.  If registered thru Serve Tennis, each event will be worth $300 upon completion, up to $900 available per USTA registered organization.  Learn more about hosting events thru Serve Tennis here.
  • Apply/Register your event by April 21 here and receive approval (funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.)
  • Submit a follow-up report demonstrating completion of efforts/grant requirements for National Tennis Month by June 30.

Ideas for Consideration:

  • Kick off your summer programming with a free drop-in tennis festival event
  • Ask local library to stock Net Gen Tennis Gear (4 racquets, 4 balls in a sling bag) to be checked out/returned just like printed materials are checked out
  • Host a family tennis festival for a local Boys and Girls Club
  • Ask your local library to feature tennis books/host readings of tennis books during May
  • Ask the local mayor/city council to make a tennis month proclamation
  • Host a tennis event supporting an animal shelter, pet adoption, or other good cause
  • Provide a tennis clinic for juniors and/or adults with adaptive needs
  • Host a tennis carnival with local parks & rec department or schools
  • Host a Cardio Tennis “Hit To Be Fit” or Triples event using low compression tennis balls
