New Leadership for the Wyoming Tennis Association

 

Laramie, WY (November 6, 2020) The Wyoming Tennis Association held their 2020 Annual Meeting and Board Meeting via Zoom due to the pandemic on October 12, 2020.  During the Annual Meeting and the Board Meeting that followed, new leadership was established for the organization.

A new slate of officers was elected by the Wyoming Tennis Association Board of Directors to serve a two year term beginning in October 2020 and ending in October 2022.  The new leadership includes :

  • President – Austin Stege of Cheyenne
  • Vice President – Trey McDonald of Cheyenne
  • Treasurer – Joe Asay of Powell
  • Secretary – Priscilla Gill of Cheyenne
  • Past President – Steve Emery of Casper
     

Four new At-Large Directors were elected by the USTA Wyoming membership and will serve a three year term beginning in October 2020 and ending in October 2023.  The new board members include:

  • Joe Asay of Powell
  • Cheryl Johnson of Laramie
  • Erica Medlin of Laramie
  • Austin Stege of Cheyenne
     

Committee and Task Force Chairs were appointed by incoming President Austin Stege for a two year term beginning in October 2020 and ending in October 2022 as follows:

  • Board and Volunteer Development Committee Chair – Mary Perkins of Torrington
  • Finance Committee - Joe Asay of Powell
  • Awards Committee – Priscilla Gill of Cheyenne
  • Community Tennis Association Committee – Debra Olson of Laramie
  • Adult Play Committee – Cheryl Johnson of Laramie
  • Youth Play Committee – Josh Cossitt of Cheyenne
  • Adaptive Tennis Task Force – Kacie Pugel of Cheyenne
