The USTA Wyoming Spring Mixed Doubles Playoffs were held May 4-5th at the Wyoming Athletic Club in Casper, Wyoming. Four teams competed for the opportunity for Sectional Advancement at the 7.0 and 8.0 NTRP levels.
Barb Rea’s Team from Casper won the 7.0 Mixed Doubles Division. Team members included: Barb Rea (Captain), Deb Theriault, Norbert Weisbeck, Lee Gribovicz, Kristy Lamb and Rob Pettigrew. CONGRATULATIONS to the 7.0 winning team!
Jesse Chavez’s Team with players from Cheyenne, Casper, Laramie and Reno (NV) won the 8.0 Mixed Doubles Division. Team members included: Jess Chavez (Captain), Priscilla Gill, Michelle Schilling (Casper), Mario Ibarra (Laramie), Troy Ibarra (Laramie), Greg Rich, Austin Stege and Christine Russ (Reno, NV). CONGRATULATIONS to the winning 8.0 team!
We had several new league players and several that returned to league play. We also had several new USTA Members join in on the FUN – Thanks to all that played and came out to watch!
