UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING TENNIS COACH CLOWER NAMED TO INTERCOLLEGIATE TENNIS ASSOCIATION’S OPERATING COMMITTEE

University of Wyoming Coach Dean Clower has been named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Operating Committee for another consecutive term. Clower is one of only 13 women's collegiate tennis coaches nationwide appointed to the ITA operating committee.  Coach Clower also oversees the Cowgirl's indoor/outdoor tennis facility which is among the 10 percent of collegiate teams that make their facilities available to the public for community play when not being used by the team.

"Thanks to Coach Clower, Wyoming players are able to have access to this beautiful facility for many USTA events.  In fact, we hosted the USTA Intermountain Tri-Level Section Invite at the UW facility in January of this year with players from Utah, Montana, Colorado, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming and they raved about the facility.  We are indebted to Coach Dean for making this possible," says USTA Wyoming Executive Director Peg Connor.

Coach Clower and his family were also recognized in October as the 2019 Wyoming Tennis Family of the Year.
