UWYO Tennis – Rocks the Mountain West Conference

Wyoming head women’s tennis coach Dean Clower, who recently led the Cowgirls to a spot in the Mountain West championship match, was named the MW women’s tennis coach of the year. The award was selected by the league’s head coaches. It’s the first such honor given to a Wyoming women’s tennis coach.  . Clower helped the Cowgirls to a 15-6 record overall during the 2015 spring season and a perfect 5-0 mark in league play. The 15-wins were the most in program history, while the five wins tied for the most wins in league play.  Read more…

Wyoming women’s tennis assistant coach Maciej Bogusz was named the ITA Mountain Division Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).  Coach Bogusz means everything to me personally and to our program,” head coach Dean Clower said. “Not only does he have one of the best tennis minds I have ever been around but he also understands the importance of community in Laramie and all over the state.  Read more ..
